Dr. Kristy Callon is a nationally board-certified acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese Medicine, licensed in California. She holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (DAcHM) from Five Branches University and a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Medicine from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Dr. Kristy’s journey into Chinese Medicine began with her own health struggles. Frustrated with the treatments she was offered, she became determined to uncover the root cause of her symptoms. Along the way, she discovered the profound wisdom of Chinese Medicine—captivated by its approach, which sees the mind, body, and spirit as deeply interconnected and treats individuals rather than just diseases. Through her own healing experience, she became inspired to help others uncover the root causes of their health challenges and reclaim a more vibrant life.
Her passion for women’s health was ignited by her own journey of more than a decade navigating hormonal imbalances and chronic skin issues. She is deeply committed to helping women feel confident in their skin—inside and out. She loves supporting women in balancing their menstrual cycles, optimizing reproductive health, and cultivating a deeper connection with their bodies.
Her dedication to this work was further strengthened after attending a home birth as a doula. Witnessing the raw power and transformation of birth, she felt an undeniable calling to support women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Now, she is working toward specializing in prenatal & postpartum care , guiding women from conception through the fourth trimester with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and holistic support.
In her practice, Dr. Kristy treats a wide range of conditions, including digestive issues, stress, pain, insomnia, women’s health concerns, and emotional well-being. She bridges the gap between Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern medicine, crafting individualized treatment plans that may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary and lifestyle counseling, moxibustion, cupping, and gua sha. Above all, she is passionate about creating a space where patients feel truly heard, supported, and empowered on their health journey.
When she's not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her soaking up some fresh air while walking her dog , diving deep into health related research, crafting nourishing meals in the kitchen, or her favorite- laying on a warm tropical beach. She finds joy in mindful movement, whether through yoga, weight training, or outdoor adventures, and loves expressing her creativity through ceramics, jewelry making, painting, photography, and macramé.
